The University of Tampa in Florida said Tuesday about the dismissal of Professor Kenneth storey, who called the flooding in Texas punishment for supporting Republican residents of this state.

Earlier this week a Professor of sociology Kenneth story came under fire for a comment in Twitter: «I don’t believe in «instant karma», but it is felt that Texas so be it. I hope that this will help them understand that the Republican party doesn’t care about them».

«We condemn these comments and feelings that caused it. We understand the pain caused by such irresponsible actions. Story fired from his job at the University of Tampa, his course will be read by other members of the faculty of sociology,» reads a statement from the University. The University administration expressed condolences to the victims in connection with the flood.

Texas has faced floods because of the storm «Harvey». «Harvey» became the most destructive hurricane in the U.S. over the past 12 years, since the country in 2005 was hurricane Katrina, which led to the flooding of the city of New Orleans in Louisiana.
