About 80 Russian children were taken to Iraq and Syria and appeared in a zone of armed conflict, their relatives in Chechnya and Dagestan are now looking for them, reported Tuesday on the website of the presidential Council on human rights (HRC).

The search for relatives of orphans began after the report of the TV channel Russia Today from a shelter in Baghdad.
