The program «Zemsky doctor» can extend to company towns

The Ministry of health of the Russian Federation will consider offers on expansion of the program «Zemsky doctor» in single-industry towns, said health Minister Veronika Skvortsova told reporters.

«Today I heard some interesting suggestions about mono. Since this is a separate issue and she needed to do… now I do not presume to make any definitive statements, but the fact that we are grateful to specialists of the Udmurt Republic for their suggestions, and they (the proposals) will be considered necessary», — said Skvortsova.

As explained in the press service of the Ministry of health, proposals related to the distribution of the program «Zemsky doctor» in company towns.

A Federal program «Zemsky doctor» is valid from 1 January 2012. Under the program, each physician in the age to 50 years old, ready to go to work in the village for five years, allocated lift in the amount of 1 million rubles.
