A lawsuit to cancel the decision of the government of Petersburg on the Mars field the exception from the list of Hyde Park and sent to St.-Petersburg city court, told RIA Novosti one of the authors of the claim, the Deputy of the Yabloko faction in the city Parliament Boris Vishnevsky.

With 2012 on the Champ de Mars was allowed to hold rallies and protests with the prior authorization, but without the consent of the authorities of the city. The public Council of the interior Ministry of the Russian Federation across Petersburg and Leningrad region after unsanctioned rally on 12 June at the Champ de Mars suggested reviewing city law that defines this place as a platform for public events. The government of St. Petersburg on August 21 ruled out the Mars field, located in the center of the city, from a list of Hyde parks.

«The claim to set aside the decision of the city government were sent via the website of the court. Today it is the most convenient way of handling,» said Wisniewski. The lawsuit was filed jointly with a member of the same party Alexander Kobrin.

In a press-service of the court said that the claim is not currently registered.
