Forbes magazine has compiled a list of the hundred most influential Russians of the century. It was headed by the results of the readers ‘ vote Yuri Gagarin, and the second and third places went to Joseph Stalin, and Vladimir Putin.

Magazine editors and experts chose Russian, whose influence on the economy, business, science, society, politics and the arts from 1917 to 2017 was especially great. The leaders of the list was determined by voting on the website.

In the first place the result was the first cosmonaut, Yuri Gagarin. The most influential of the century Russians called it 52,2% of the readers. «Gagarin is one of the most famous people in the world,» — said in comments to Forbes.

Joseph Stalin scored 44.6% of votes. It is noted that the longest he led Russia in the XX century and managed to «unprecedented improvements» in the zone of its influence.
