Russian immigration laws need to be liberalized to make clear and understandable to the foreigners knew how they should behave, and the Russians would not see them as a threat, said Deputy head of the presidential Council on human rights (HRC) Yevgeny Bobrov, who heads the Council’s Commission for migration policy.

Deputy Chairman of the HRC is convinced that the tightening of immigration legislation is not required, on the contrary, it must liberalize in order to reduce the number of illegal migrants.

He noted that based on information about the detention of two immigrants from the CIS it is impossible to make any conclusions and generalizations.
