The head of the Crimea Sergey Aksenov has stood up for the Deputy of the state Duma of the Russian Federation Natalia Polonskaya, which is the center of attention because of a number of his statements, and described it as «an honest man with convictions.»

During a briefing on the sidelines of the youth forum «Tauris» the head of Crimea asked how he refers to the position on the film «Matilda» Polonskaya, which, as stated by the author of the question of «heroine «Russian spring» has become the «shame of the Crimea.»

«Natalia Poklonskaya is a very worthy man. I don’t agree (with this characteristic). She’s my ally, colleague, comrade. In my presence don’t talk about shame… I would have looked like behaved people in her place (during the «Crimean spring»), Natalia – she is, importantly, an honest man, and beliefs, each can be different. It is a private matter, as it is their personal beliefs are protected,» — said Aksenov reporters.

He noted that each person has their own beliefs. «How Natalya defends their beliefs is worthy of respect. I have not watched the film and can’t give estimates without seeing this film,» said Feldman.

The head of the Crimea stressed that it was wrong to invite the actors from another country to the role of the Russian Tsar. «Absolute folly to invite the other country is not clear which of the actors on the role of the Russian tsars. Do we have someone from the Russian actors playing in Germany or America, some leaders? No. Do we have no decent actors?» — said Aksenov. According to him, the opinion about the movie «Matilda» will be issued by the Ministry of culture of the Republic. Aksenov urged not to make hasty assessments.
