The Ministry of economic development based on the preservation of the current regime of sanctions against Russia during the forecast period until the end of 2020, said the Minister of economic development of the Russian Federation Maxim Oreshkin, representing the updated medium-term forecast.

However, according to the new forecast, the situation on foreign markets will develop in a more optimistic scenario: expected to maintain the positive mood in global markets and high risk tolerance. The Ministry also emanates from the sustainable conservation of growth above potential in the US and the Eurozone, as well as unsustainable growth in China and India.

The effect of a transaction OPEC and some countries outside the organization to reduce oil production, according to inherent in the forecast assumptions will continue until the end of the deadline.

«In our forecast now included the effect of a transaction with OPEC, Russia and other manufacturers before the end of the original deadline until the first quarter of 2018. Here we have the traditional approach — we take the deal there and just lay it in the forecast,» said Oreshkin journalists, presenting an updated forecast.

«Absolutely the same forecast we have sanctions, we expect to preserve them for the entire forecast period and here again, nothing extra is pledged», he added.
