Nobel prize winners believe overpopulation, environmental destruction and the possibility of nuclear war, the main threats to humanity, says the poll of the magazine Times Higher Education.
According to the magazine, on this issue expressed their views on 50 Nobel prize laureates: 34% of them named the main threat to the growth of the population and the destruction of the environment, 23% — the possibility of nuclear war.
A number of scholars also fear of terrorism (6% winners) and «incompetent leaders» in particular, some scientists are those attributed to US President Donald trump (6%).
At the end of the list of the main threats to humanity were drugs and social network Facebook (4%).
