New Russian-American crew to the ISS while the station plans to perform more than 200 scientific experiments, of which about 150 will carry NASA astronauts, and 56 — Russian cosmonauts, said the members of the expedition at pre-flight press conference at Baikonur.

«Comparing the scientific program of my first flight and today — she is now incomparably larger. But since I’m a pilot by training, tell us about your most favorite experiment is the spacewalk. There we conduct the experiment by the presence of life on the station. Who would have thought that there it can be, because these temperature extremes of +100, -100, and yet here it is,» — said the commander of the spacecraft «Soyuz MS-06» Alexander Misurkin.

The flight engineer «Union» mark van De Hey said that the program will be executed over 150 experiments.

«We are the eyes and hands of scientists. During our expedition are going to conduct experiments that no one has held. Soon we will leave low orbit towards Mars, we must study man, the human body, such experiments are very important to us,» said the astronaut.

The Russian segment is planned for the 56 experiments, said the representative of «Roscosmos».

The main crew of «Soyuz MS-06» included cosmonaut of the Roscosmos Alexander Misurkin, and NASA astronauts mark Vande HEI and Joseph Aqaba.

A meeting of the interdepartmental Commission was held on the first full day of the examination session. The astronauts coped with all the training contingencies, working on replicas of the ISS Russian segment and the spacecraft «Soyuz MS». Also they were found fit to fly by a medical Board.

Misurkin will fly to the ISS for the second time, Aqaba — in the third, Vande HEI does not yet have the experience of space flight.

Start a new expedition to the ISS aboard the «Soyuz MS-06» is scheduled for September 13 at 00.58 GMT from the Baikonur cosmodrome, the planned mission duration will be 167 days.
