The Chechen Republic and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug on Tuesday in Grozny signed the agreement on trade-economic, scientific-technical and cultural cooperation.

The document was signed by head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov and the Governor of Yamal Dmitry Kobylkin.

Under the agreement, regions will exchange experience of legislative activity, to promote the establishment, preservation and extension of trade-economic ties. They will also contribute to the mutual trade of main products of industrial-technical purpose and consumer goods on a competitive basis, to share experiences on attracting investment and improving the investment climate, organize exhibition and fair activity, including agriculture.

The parties will create conditions for comprehensive contact research organizations, to share best practices in the implementation of public-private partnership, to facilitate the development of relations between the medical and educational organizations. Also planned cooperation in the field of environmental protection and rational use of natural resources strengthening and development of existing contacts and networks in the field of culture, tourism and sports.

In addition, Chechnya and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous district, will participate in the improvement of legal regulation and the exchange of practical experience in the sphere of state national policy, interethnic and ethno-confessional relations, ethno-cultural development of peoples of the Russian Federation, to conduct coordinated civil-Patriotic, moral and international education of youth, formation of healthy lifestyle.
