The state Corporation «Rosatom» in the near future will hold petrosimonia at potential sites for construction of wind farms along the black sea coast in the Krasnodar region, said the Department of communications of Rosatom.

The wind power projects Rosatom is considering as one of the most promising of their non-nuclear «points of growth». In 2016 the Corporation has won the tender for the construction of Adygea and Krasnodar Krai of three wind power plants (WPP) with total capacity of 610 MW.

In June of this year Rosatom in the contest of investment projects for renewable energy received the right to build another 360 MW of wind power capacity in Adygea, Krasnodar Krai and Kurgan region.

The planned construction capacity will reach 43% of the Russian market of wind energy. The construction of the wind farms is scheduled for 2019-2022 years. To solve this problem in the near future to be implemented at the enterprises of machine-building division of Rosatom state Corporation largest in Russia the program of localization of production of wind turbines of megawatt class.

In the words of Advisor to General Director of JSC «Matrook» (part of Rosatom) Mikhail Banova, the project will allow to create in the southern Federal district, about 1000 new jobs.

«We have already opened the representative office of JSC «Wetlook» in Krasnodar and will soon begin conducting the necessary wind measurements at potential sites along the black sea coast of Krasnodar Region and other regions in the South of Russia», — said Ban, whose words are quoted in the message.
