The shortlist for the prestigious literary man Booker prize (Man Booker Prize) announced on Wednesday in London: it included six books of the modern English-speaking authors, including the works of Ali Smith, Paul Oster and Mohsin Hamid.

The Pulitzer prize is awarded since 1969, but until 2014, its laureates could become only citizens of the UK, Ireland and British Commonwealth countries.
