The President of Bolivia, Evo Morales, said that his country, together with Chile, Mexico and Nicaragua will participate in the negotiations between the government and opposition of Venezuela.

«We saw that now is the best time to participate and assist in the defense of democracy in Latin America,» said the President during a press conference in the city of El Alto in the Western part of the country.

The President also welcomed the progress already achieved in the negotiations the Venezuelan government with the opposition, reported in the Twitter of the Ministry of communication of Bolivia.

On Tuesday, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro said that the government will take part in the negotiations with the opposition, which was initiated by former Prime Minister of Spain, josé Luis rodríguez Zapatero and the President of the Dominican Republic Danilo Medina. He added that the meeting with the opposition it will represent Jorge Rodriguez (who previously held the post of Vice-President), who will lead the delegation from the government of Venezuela.
