Turkish authorities released the detainee in July, a French journalist Lou Bureau, soon he will go home, said the lawyer of the journalist Martel Pradel.

«We are honored to announce the release of journalist Lou’s Office. He will be deported from Turkey soon,» wrote Pradel on Twitter. He added that the Turkish court closed the case against the Bureau. «However, the court of Sirnak had not closed the case, and the struggle will continue,» — said Pradel.

Secretary General of the organization «reporters without borders» Christophe Deluar, in turn, suggested that the release of French journalist became possible after negotiations of foreign Minister of France Jean-Yves Le Drian, and the President of Turkey Tayyip Erdogan.

«It is no accident if the release Lou, the Bureau place the day after the talks, Le Drian and Erdogan: the latter was the key to the lock,» wrote Deluar on Twitter.

Lu Bureau, an independent French journalist who collaborated with TV5 Monde, Arte, and Slate, was arrested on July 26 on the border between Iraq and Turkey.
