Archaeologists have discovered in the center of Kaliningrad remains, presumably, the pottery production of the seventeenth century and the Foundation of the theater, relating to a later period – the beginning of XX century, told RIA Novosti the head of the scientific-production organization Baltspetsarkheologiya, who leads the excavations, Evgeniy Kalashnikov.

«What we found is not itself the pottery, and traces of pottery production. The production itself has not found, and may not find because we are examining only within the area of development, but a workshop could be in the side. The building was built, and she could be destroyed,» — said the archaeologist.

According to him, the most valuable find was the place where were thrown the marriage of pottery production. This is the pit from which first took the clay for production, and then fold residues. Here there are the usual jugs, pots, pans, painted plates, miniature vessels, stove tiles and used matrix for them.
