All-Russian running day «Cross of Nations» gathered yesterday in Moscow 15 thousand people, reported on the official portal of the mayor and the city government.

«The all-Russian day of running «Cross the nation» was held under the motto «healthy parks and playgrounds» and gathered 15 thousand people», — stated in the message.

As noted, the participants could run the main distance of one thousand meters, as well as an additional 500, 1.5 thousand, three thousand and six thousand meters.

According to the portal, the Minister of sports of Russia Pavel Kolobkov ran a thousand meters. According to him, «cross the nation» in recent years, has become the most popular sports event in the country.
