Development of system of water supply and Sewerage regions of Russia will discuss in the framework of the Conference of utilities, which opens Monday in Kaliningrad, reported the press service of the regional government.

«Officials and industry experts for three days of work in the framework of the round tables, plenary sessions and thematic sections will discuss the legislative and administrative steps to increase efficiency of water management utilities and preservation of ecological safety of water resources», — stated in the message.

The business agenda X of the Conference of vodokanals of Russia is aimed at protecting water bodies from negative impacts of wastewater. It is noted that the annual education of sewage sludge is about 1.5 million tons and the payments for its negative impact estimated at more than 3 billion rubles.

Every year the Russian Association of water supply and sanitation holds similar conferences in the Russian regions to assess the status of water and sewage in settlements of the country, analysis of drinking water quality and wastewater treatment, as well as to discuss the pricing system appropriate utility services and prospects for further development of the industry.

In the Conference of vodokanals of Russia is expected to involve more than 400 people, including representatives of the Ministry of Russia, Rosprirodnadzor, Rospotrebnadzor, Ministry of construction, Ministry of industry and trade, FAS, regional and municipal authorities of subjects of the Russian Federation.
