Real disposable incomes of Russians in August slowed the decline yoy to 0.3% from 1% in July, the first eight months fell 1.2%, according to the operational report of Rosstat.

The Agency has updated the data on the dynamics of the figure for the previous month: the real disposable income of the population, according to updated statistics, in July decreased by 1% (Rosstat earlier reported decline of 0.9%). Real disposable income is the income less mandatory payments, adjusted for inflation.

«Real disposable income is estimated to have been in August 2017 fell by 0.3% compared with the corresponding period of the previous year, in January-August 2017 — 1.2%», — the document says the statistical Agency. In monthly expression the indicator grew by 0.2%.

All prosegregation wages, according to Rosstat, in August in annual terms grew by 3.7%, month-on-month down 1%; their growth in January-August amounted to 2.9%.

The average monthly accrued wages of employees of organizations in August, according to Rosstat, amounted to 38,040 thousand rubles. Compared with the corresponding period of the previous year the indicator grew by 7.1% in July fell by 1.5%. In January-August, nominal wages rose by 7.2%.

Real disposable income in January 2017 increased by 8.2% in annual terms. They subsequently went on to decline: in February, the decline in annual terms amounted to 3.7% in March and 2.3% in April and 7.4%. In may and June, the real incomes of Russians grew by 0.1% and 0.2%, respectively, and then returned to decline. According to the forecast of Ministry of economic development, the growth of real disposable income at the end of 2017 will amount to 1.2%.
