China remains firmly insists on the strict implementation by all parties of the transaction on Iran, said Wednesday the official representative of Chinese foreign Ministry Lu Kang in response to the words of U.S. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson about the need for changes to the agreement on the Iranian nuclear program.

Earlier, Tillerson said that the most important concern is those provisions of the agreement that have expiry date and after some time expires. According to him, «this is not the way forward».

«As for the statements by U.S. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson, we also drew attention to them… as for the Chinese side, we continue to advocate that all parties strictly comply with the provisions of this agreement. We also hope that all parties will protect this result, which was very difficult,» — said at a briefing, Lou Kahn, commenting on the words Tillerson.

The Chinese diplomat stressed that a comprehensive agreement on Iran’s nuclear program — a successful example of resolving international problems through political and diplomatic means and of great importance to maintain the international non-proliferation regime, maintain peace and stability in the middle East.

Iran and «six» of international mediators on 14 July 2015, reached an historic agreement on the settlement of the longstanding problem of the Iranian atom. Adopted a joint comprehensive plan of action (SVPD), which removes Iran’s previously imposed economic and financial sanctions by the UN security Council, US and EU. The plan came into effect on 16 January 2016.
