The Chinese government is ready to provide emergency humanitarian aid to victims of recent natural disasters Mexico, the Dominican Republic and the island nation of Antigua and Barbuda, said in a statement on the website of the Ministry of Commerce of China.

«Recently a strong earthquake in Mexico, hurricanes in the Dominican Republic and Antigua and Barbuda brought to significant human losses and significant material damage. An earthquake of magnitude of 7.1 occurred in Mexico on Tuesday. Tremors recorded at 18.14 UTC (21.14 GMT). Powerful aftershocks of the earthquake in southern Mexico were felt in Mexico city. The victims of the earthquake according to the latest data there have been at least 230 people.

Hurricane «Maria» has caused serious flooding in some parts of the island of Puerto Rico and moving to the Dominican Republic. Earlier it was reported that the entire island with a population of over 3 million people were left without electricity.
