The Ostankino district court of Moscow sentenced to seven years of imprisonment of two men for embezzling 245 million rubles from one of the Metropolitan banks, said the acting head of Fios GU MVD of Russia in Moscow, Colonel of internal service Yuri Titov.

«Based on the materials of the criminal case on embezzling 245 million rubles from one of the banks capital, the investigated GSU GU MVD of Russia in Moscow, the Ostankino district court of Moscow two defendants convicted and sentenced to 7 years imprisonment each» — quoted Titov on the website of the interior Ministry in Moscow.

Earlier it was reported that the attackers, one of whom was the founder of the organization for the production of soft drinks for the loan submitted to the Bank false documents and false information about the financial condition of the company.

In the result, the parties entered into three credit agreements, the maximum limit of withdrawal, which amounted to 245 million rubles. The money men were disposed of at their discretion. On this fact criminal case about swindle in crediting sphere.

In may 2016 fraud detained and arrested. In March of this year the investigation was completed, the defendants were charged with fraud.
