Alley rulers of the twentieth century opened on Friday in the square «Museum of military uniforms» of the Russian military historical society (RVIA) in Moscow.

On the walk presents busts of Vladimir Lenin, the General secretaries of the Soviet Union of Joseph Stalin, Nikita Khrushchev, Leonid Brezhnev, Yuri Andropov, Konstantin Chernenko, Mikhail Gorbachev.

This story is not over, the alley goes on forever, and I want to believe she’s a century will be maintained, while there is history, there will be statesmen who will take their rightful place in the alley,» said Deputy Minister of culture of the Russian Federation Alexander Zhuravsky.

He said that a bust of the first President of Russia Boris Yeltsin will be opened on the day of his birth on February 1. «It is hoped that on 1 February next year will be solemnly opened the bust of Boris Yeltsin,» — said Zhuravskii.

The author of all the busts the sculptor Zurab Tsereteli, noted that Yeltsin had prepared. «Put in his birthday» — promised Tsereteli.

Avenue of rulers was created by the Russian military-historical society. Earlier in the Park of the Museum here there were set the busts of 33 people in one period or another, exercising the Supreme leadership of the country: from Rurik to Alexander Kerensky.
