Regional officials involved in the implementation of priority projects of the government, will take exams for project management, the newspaper «Izvestia» with reference to the Department of project activities of the Russian government.

The government passed on the project method of work in the fall of 2016. Already launched 34 projects, for example, «E-health», «ensuring the quality of housing and communal services», «Increasing productivity and employment support». They involved staff members of departments (including regional) and representatives of development institutions. To participate in priority projects in a managerial position, the officer needs to be trained in project management and confirm the acquired skills.

According to the Director of the Centre for project management, RANEPA Oleg Bileva, the exam will be a proctored test in writing or in electronic form. Job should take one hour.

The test will be considered passed, if the officer will give 65% of correct answers. While necessary for successful completion of the exam the number of points will vary depending on the role of civil servants in the project. Those who can not cope with the test, will receive on the retake.

«System requirements covers the personal and managerial competencies, including leadership, managerial decision making, teamwork, flexibility and willingness to change, strategic thinking and personal effectiveness,» explained Belew.

The first certification will be officials of the Belgorod region. In General, the training and recertification will be representatives of all 85 regions, including the Vice-governors, the newspaper said.
