The Ministry of economic development forecasts growth in real wages up to 4% in 2018, said the Minister of economic development Maxim Oreshkin on Saturday at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Minister of industry and trade Denis Manturov.

All prosegregation noted the improvement, especially the «wage». «Statistics show an increase in real wages of 3.4%,» said Oreshkin.

According to him, nominal wages are rising by 6-7% from year to year. With the growth of wages is «more healthy», said the Minister, as it is based on productivity growth and not oil prices.

«By 2018, we expect that the growth in real wages accelerated to 4%, this will of course help higher wages in the public sector,» said Oreshkin.
