The airline «VIM-Avia» partly paid debt to the Domodedovo airport, 19 delayed flights have to depart in the near future, according to the website of the Association of tour operators of Russia (ATOR).

Mass and long delays of flights of airline «VIM-Avia» has begun even in the summer, the carrier explained that a «late arrival» of the aircraft from maintenance. Now the delays are of such magnitude that it took the intervention of the Ministry of transport and Rosaviation. For the last two days «VIM-Avia» delayed the departure of more than 10 flights from Moscow. Testing began, the Prosecutor’s office and the investigative Committee on transport.

«According to a source from the civil aviation authority, this state of Affairs was due to non-payment of fuel and other airport services and large debt «VIM-Avia» in front of the airport, which guide the air port was forced to deny a flight of the air carrier maintenance. Today, the status of most of these flights «VIM-Avia» (with the exception of Yerevan, which still shows the status «will information») in Domodedovo has changed to «detained», — is spoken in the message.

As stated ATOR General Director of tour operator «Vipservis» Dmitry Gorin, the status change is due to the fact that «the airline is already partially paid the debt to the Domodedovo airport, and at least for a weekend flight «VIM-Avia» has to fly out of Domodedovo».

It is noted that the tour operator «Mouzenidis travel», without waiting for resolution of the conflict between the airport and «VIM-Avia», started to export its tourists from Sheremetyevo sides EllinAir.
