Party Alliance CDU/CSU, led by the current Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel is leading in the elections to the German Parliament from 32.5%, according to the exit poll of the public legal TV channel ARD.

The social democratic party of Germany (SPD) led by Martin Schulz on election gets 20%.

According to exit poll ARD, right-wing party «Alternative for Germany» (AfD) will be held in the Bundestag, occupying the third place with 13.5%.

«Alternative for Germany» takes part in the parliamentary elections in Germany the second time. In the elections in 2013 the party failed to overcome the 5% barrier, gaining 4.7 percent of the votes.
