The child that the guardianship of the Krasnogorsk district of Moscow region tried to withdraw from the family of blind parents, remains in the family, according to the office of the Commissioner on child rights under the President of the Russian Federation Anna Kuznetsova.

Earlier, the Chairman of the Commission of Public chamber of the Russian Federation for the support of family, motherhood and childhood Diana Gurtskaya asked the Prosecutor General Yuri Chaika to instruct to carry out inspections in connection with reports of attempts to seize a newborn baby from the family of blind parents in Krasnogorsk. According to her, in August this year, the staff of the Krasnogorsk municipal hospital №3 has tried to seize a newborn baby from a young family blind because of their disability, appealing to the position of the guardianship.

«Little Sophia will remain in native family», — quotes the words of Kuznetsova’s press service.

«Question to the «experts» deciding who can and who can not leave the children — can parents another GTO to take the birth of a child?» — also commented on the situation the children’s Ombudsman.
