Russian Railways plans to run passenger trains on the railway to bypass Ukraine in two stages — first in a new line will switch to those who have not had intermediate stops at old, said the Director of passenger transport Dmitry Pegov.

Construction of double track electrified railway line zhuravka — Millerovo to bypass Ukraine ended in August. From 20 September in this area began cargo movement.

«The launch will occur in several stages: the first stage, it is now a schedule without time changes, first there will be running trains that do not have intermediate stops,» said Pegov.

According to him, next year, when the company is ready, the entire flow of passenger trains will switch to the bypass. At the same time, added pegs, there are some nuances.

«We are working on this issue, because the train had two more intermediate stops, where people came in and went out. We can’t leave these settlements all entirely without passenger traffic, so we are just discussing with your study schedule, but we still have to understand that the site is new, you have to break in», he said.

According to Pegova, plot 61 operates steam passenger trains, about one-third of them were on the old line without stopping.
