Prospects of cooperation in the field of agriculture discussed the authorities of the Smolensk region and representatives of the Japanese business, reported RIA Novosti the representative of the press service of the regional administration.

According to him, the Governor of Smolensk region Alexey Ostrovskiy held Wednesday a working meeting with the heads of major Japanese companies — Director General of the HOKKAIDO CORPORATION Yukio Temma and representative of JFE Engineering Corporation of Kambara Masaki.

«Smolensk region has a great investment potential, primarily for localization-oriented production, both industrial and agricultural. Our cooperation can build several profiles.
