Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed hope that the infrastructure created for the destruction of chemical weapons in Russia will not be buried in the regions and will be used.

Earlier during the teleconference the President gave the command to destroy the last pounds of existing Russian stockpiles of chemical weapons at the facility, the Kizner in Udmurtia.

During his report at the end of the teleconference the Minister of industry and trade Denis Manturov said that at the Kizner facility will be the production of propellants and explosives. All seven sites, where the destruction of chemical weapons, will be conceded, there are already stakeholders.

«I want to Express the hope that the plan outlined by the Minister of industry of the Russian Federation, will be implemented, will be implemented. All the infrastructure is created, all the money invested in the noble cause of eliminating chemical weapons, not be buried here in these enterprises, but rather will be used in the future for positive works and is aimed at creation and development», — said Putin.

«There are also enterprises associated with the military industrial complex,» — said Putin, noting that the gunpowder used not only in military but also civilian sectors.

«All this should benefit the development of the regions concerned. And created jobs, I hope, will not be affected. We did everything to save them. Thank you very much, good night,» concluded the President of Russia.
