The coordinator of the movement «Left front» Sergei Udaltsov said that he had been released after five days in prison for unauthorized action in Moscow and plans to appeal his arrest.

«Just released from detention center after five days of arrest, until the end of the hunger strike. I will be sure to challenge your arrest in all judicial instances, as it was completely illegal,» wrote Udaltsov on his Twitter.

Earlier, Udaltsov was arrested for uncoordinated action on Strastnoy Boulevard in Moscow. His lawyer insisted on the release, but the Moscow city court found the arrest lawful.

Udaltsov charged with organizing a public event without filing notice, he faces a fine of up to 30 thousand rubles or up to 10 days of administrative arrest. As follows from the presented materials by the police, Udaltsov «using the Internet» organized not coordinated with the authorities of the action «Anticapitalism-2017».

While Udaltsov himself pleads not guilty, pointing out that since the authorities did not provide alternative sites, he arrived at the Boulevard «to meet with friends.» According to him, no slogans, he shouted, just talked to friends and journalists, then approached police and said he prevents the passage of pedestrians and he was taken to a police bus.

Sergei Udaltsov at the beginning of August came from a colony where served time in 4.5 years for organizing riots on Bolotnaya square in Moscow in may 2012.
