Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on Friday will discuss with the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sapar Isakov interaction within the Eurasian economic Union, reported the press service of the Russian Cabinet.

«During the meeting, the Prime Minister and Sapar Isakov will discuss topical issues of bilateral relations, including areas of cooperation in trade-economic, investment, energy and cultural-humanitarian spheres,» — stated in the message of the government.

This is the first foreign visit Isakov as head of the government of the Republic after his appointment on 26 August 2017.

The integration of

The EEU is an international integration economic Union created on the basis of the Customs Union and the common economic space starting from 1 January 2015. Its current membership are Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.

For alignment in the countries of the EEU economic conditions producers of sugar and sugar-containing products, including confectionery and non-alcoholic products, the Ministry of agriculture will turn into the MAYOR of the Russian Federation with a request to consider the site of the Eurasian economic Commission two questions. The first is on the adoption of the unified rules of import of sugar and the proposal of the Belarusian and Kazakh party purchasing Russian sugar instead of raw sugar imports from foreign countries. There are also a number of issues related to the excise taxes on tobacco. Eurasian anti-tobacco coalition addressed the Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev with a request to revise the draft agreement of the EAEC in the field of excise duties on tobacco products in order to grow more rapidly.

In the petition, the coalition criticizes the document that, according to her, will be considered by the EEC Council on 15 September. The coalition composed of one public organizations from Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Mongolia and Armenia.

Strategic partnership

As noted in the government of the Russian Federation, Kyrgyzstan is a strategic partner and ally of Russia. Bilateral cooperation tested by time, is multidimensional, is characterized by a closeness of approaches to international and regional Affairs, aiming at the development of integration processes in the Eurasian space.

«During the upcoming talks in Moscow the heads of government will discuss topical issues of development of Russian-Kyrgyz cooperation in trade-economic, investment, energy, scientific-technical and humanitarian spheres, prospects for increasing trade between Russia and Kyrgyzstan in the new conditions of cooperation within the Eurasian economic Union, as well as other aspects of the bilateral agenda», — told reporters the employee of the government of the Russian Federation.
Customs procedures

To date, undertaken a large amount of work on modernization of customs infrastructure, the second phase of equipping the checkpoints and laboratories for sanitary, veterinary and phytosanitary control, say in the government. Fully equipped and includes four customs checkpoints in airports «Manas» and «Osh» and car «Torugart» and «Irkeshtam» and seven laboratories. Provide training and refresher training of Kyrgyz specialists in the sphere of customs regulation and administration, transport control and financial policy, as well as in the field of information and telecommunication technologies.

All activities will be completed by the end of 2018, after which the Kyrgyz products can be certified for compliance with technical regulations of the EEU in the Republic.

Financial assistance

Along with supporting the economy of Kyrgyzstan in the framework of its accession to the EEU Moscow continues to provide Bishkek with substantial financial assistance on a Pro Bono basis, noted in the apparatus of the Russian government.

«To support the state budget of Kyrgyzstan in 2017 have been allocated additional financial assistance in the amount of $ 56 million.
