Roskosmos is conducting a tender for the supply of helicopter for the needs of the Vostochny space centre, the maximum price of the contract amounts to 575 million rubles, relevant application posted on the portal of public procurement.

It is noted that the helicopter is needed to transport personnel for ground search group, the ecological environment monitoring, circled the track in areas separating from parts of space objects in Yakutia, Amur region and Khabarovsk Krai.

According to the application, a maximum takeoff weight of the helicopter should not exceed 13 tons, year of production – no earlier than 2017. To put his needs until November 20.

The Vostochny cosmodrome is being built near the city of Tsiolkovsky (formerly the village of Uglegorsk) in the Amur region in 2012. He will become the first national cosmodrome of civilian purposes and will ensure independent access of Russia into space. Historic first launch of the carrier rocket «Soyuz-2.1 a» with the East with three satellites was successfully performed on 28 April 2016.
