The external debt of Belarus increased by 14.7% YTD

The external debt of Belarus since the beginning of the year to 1 September rose by 14.7% to 15.7 billion dollars, said on Friday the press-service of the Ministry of Finance.

«The external debt as of 1 September 2017 amounted to 15.7 billion dollars, having increased from the beginning of the year for $ 2 billion (including exchange rate differences), or 14.7%,» — said in the message.

There will be explained that in January-August 2017 external state loans of $ 2,656 billion, including $ 1.4 billion through Eurobonds of $ 600 million from the EFSR, 353,1 million dollars of the government and banks of Russia, 190,4 million dollars of the banks of China, 108,7 million dollars IBRD, $ 3.6 million of the EBRD and NIB.

The repayment of external public debt from the beginning of 2017 amounted to 697,8 million dollars. So, listed 264,3 million dollars to the government of the Russian Federation, 217,5 million dollars — Chinese banks, 176,6 million dollars — EFSR, 38.5 million dollars, the IBRD.

As of 1 September 2017 internal debt amounted to 9.3 billion rubles (about $ 4.7 billion), having decreased from the beginning of the year by 8.7%.

Thus, the state debt of Belarus on September 1, 2017 amounted to 39.6 billion rubles and increased in comparison with the beginning of 2017 7.2%.
