About 12 billion rubles of debt Voronezh region before the Federal budget is subject to restructuring, said Friday the regional government.

The Governor of the Voronezh region Alexey Gordeyev at a meeting of the Presidium of the state Council, which was held on September 22 in Ulyanovsk, took the initiative on the restructuring of debt obligations of the regions in budget loans. The country’s leadership supported the initiative.

On Friday, the head of the Finance Department of the Voronezh region Nadezhda Safonova at the meeting with the head of the region reported on the implementation of restructuring debt obligations.

«Restructuring in the form of deferred repayment of the debt will be subject to 11.9 billion rubles of debt region before the Federal budget», — stated in the message.

As of 1 September, the public debt of the region has exceeded 27,234 billion. Of them: the region’s indebtedness to the Federal budget — more than 21.2 billion rubles, more than six billion Treasury bonds from banks.

Safonov also told the Governor about the work on the draft of the regional budget for 2018 and the planned period of 2019-2020.

«We already know that the size of subsidies from the Federal budget for the Voronezh region is not reduced. Currently, specified the amount of subsidies allocated under the Federal government programs. Sectoral Executive bodies of state authorities of the region are working to conclude agreements with the Federal ministries,» — noted in the regional government.

It is also reported that Gordeyev instructed to maintain the priority of social obligations, plan the expenditure budget with the necessary funds for the implementation of decrees of the President of Russia from may, 2012 on payment of separate categories of workers of budgetary sphere, increase in the minimum wage and payment of compulsory health insurance for non-working population.

The draft budget is scheduled to present at the end of October for consideration at a public hearing.
