The seventh international music festival of brass art «BRASS DAYS» will be held as last year in two cities — Moscow and Tula, the concerts will be held from 30 September to 6 November, the press service of the festival.

The initiator and artistic Director of the festival has become one of the best trumpeters and young Symphony conductor of Russia Vladislav Lavrik. This music forum is supported by Ministry of culture of the Russian Federation, the Moscow Conservatory and Philharmonic Tula.

Moscow — Tula

«This year the festival will be held already for the seventh time, and again the concerts will be divided between the two cities — Moscow and Tula, — have told RIA Novosti Lavrik. — They, in particular, will be attended by such outstanding soloists as the pianist Boris Berezovsky, a trumpet player from Italy, Andrea Giuffredi and Portuguese tuba player Sergio Carolino, two bands from America, the brass ensemble of the Bolshoi theater, as well as great orchestras — the name of Svetlanova and the «New Russia». I am very glad that from year to year the festival «BRASS DAYS» develops and causes great interest among the audience.»

«BRASS DAYS» his September 30 show will open not only the festival, but jubilee 80th season of the Tula regional Philharmonic society. At the Concert hall of the Philharmonic will be one of the most brilliant pianists Boris Berezovsky, He will be the soloist in the Concerto No. 2 by Sergei Rachmaninoff. The program also includes Symphony No. 2 in e minor composer. The conductor’s State Symphony orchestra «New Russia» in the evening will rise Vladislav Lavrik.

The birth of the orchestra

The next day, the festival will be a presentation of the new team — the Tula Philharmonic orchestra. Symbolically, to carry out this ambitious project managed the jubilee of the Philharmonic society. Will lead the orchestra award winner of the RF President Vladislav Lavrik. In the program’s first newborn of the orchestra’s performances of works by Beethoven, Vivaldi, Mozart, Prokofiev, Tchaikovsky. The concert will take part the winners of international competitions Anastasiya Timoshenko (violin) and Vladislav Belousov (violoncello), and artistic Director will perform not only the role of conductor and soloist.

The second of October Tula music lovers will meet with virtuoso arts brass ensemble of soloists of the Bolshoi theatre orchestra, award-winning prestigious festivals. Will include works by Bach, Handel, Verdi, Piazzolla and other composers in original arrangements, which is famous for its ensemble.

The Moscow part of the festival opens at the Conservatory on October 12. This evening will perform String orchestra RNO. In the program compositions of Torelli, Bach, Stravinsky.

Musicians from USA, Italy and Portugal

At the concert, which will be held in the Small hall of the Moscow Conservatory on October 26, there will be a parade of unique ensembles: brass Quartet, Smoky mountain from USA, Quintet of wooden wind instruments, Colorado (USA), brass ensembles, the RNO and the BOLSHOI theater, the state academic Symphony orchestra named Svetlanov, National Philharmonic orchestra of Russia and the Quartet of French horns of the orchestra of the Musical theater.

The traditional concert «BRASS DAYS» will be held in the Big ass of the Conservatory on 4 November. This evening the Moscow audience acquainted with two outstanding soloists —Italian trumpeter Andrea Giuffredi and tuba player from Portugal, Sergio Carolino.

The festival will end on 6 November by the Ensemble «the Brass soloists of Russia», which will be held in the hall of the Moscow Philharmonic. At the concert will sound «classic for the ages»: Gershwin, Bernstein and Piazzolla.
