A citizen of Kyrgyzstan received four years in a General regime colony for recruiting in the «Islamic state»* of the local population, reported on the website of the Prosecutor’s office of Khabarovsk Krai.

According to the Supervisory authority, the citizen of Kyrgyzstan, born in 1994 is a supporter of radical Islamic movements. According to the Prosecutor’s office in may of this year he was in Khabarovsk, where he tried to recruit local people into the ranks of the terrorist group ISIS*.

«The punishment assigned in the form of four years of imprisonment without the penalty with serving in a corrective colony of General regime», — stated in the message. The verdict has not yet entered into force.

* Banned in Russia as a terrorist organization
