Russia and Luxembourg have the power to make additional efforts to relations between the two countries thrived, in the most favorable manner, said Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev during talks with his Luxembourg counterpart Xavier Bettel.

Bettel also said that the premiere has been held for the third time and it is a good sign for the development of relations between the two countries.

The Prime Minister of Luxembourg said that it plans on October 18 to visit Tambov oblast, where he will participate in a memorial ceremony at the monument to the Luxembourgers who were forcibly called up during the Second world war in the ranks of the German army and subsequently executed in Soviet captivity. Bettel said that his state is a significant loss, and praised the fact that the archives of the two countries signed an agreement that will enable Luxembourg to receive documents of those who perished.
