Detained in Kiev Uzbek journalist, Narzullo Konanova released from custody, said on Wednesday the Ukrainian NGO Institute of mass information with reference to the lawyer of the journalist Alexei Fedorov.

The journalist was arrested on 20 September when my family came to Ukraine from Turkey to «seek political asylum». His name appeared in the lists of wanted persons, Interpol, where previously it had made the Uzbek authorities on charges of fraud. Non-governmental human rights organization «Committee to protect journalists» called on the authorities of Ukraine to release Konanova, let him stay in the country and to reject the extradition request.

«He’s already home. He was released after lunch today», — quotes the lawyer of public organization.

The lawyer reported the deteriorating health of his client.
