Following the meeting in Brussels of the foreign Ministers of Germany, France, UK and head of the EU diplomacy Federica Mogherini, the parties expressed their intention to maintain a nuclear deal with Iran in any case, told reporters the foreign Minister of Germany Sigmar Gabriel.

«We agree that we want to preserve the agreement on the nuclear program of Iran, otherwise we risk that the government will create a nuclear weapon,» said Gabriel after the meeting. The Minister’s presentation was broadcast live through the website of the European Commission.

Last week Mogherini following consultations in Washington said that the EU insists on the full implementation of the nuclear deal with Iran, including from the United States.

In mid-October, the President of the United States Donald trump announced that the White house would work with Congress on the «serious shortcomings» of the international agreement with Iran, and threatened that if the correct deal in the dialogue with Congress and allies would be impossible, it will be cancelled.
