The Kremlin will promptly announce the date of the annual message of the President of the Russian Federation to the Federal Assembly, it will be done after the head of state will decide on the timing of its announcement, said the press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov.

«I can’t answer your question. You know that once the President decides on the timing of the announcement of the message, we do an appropriate message. So far we haven’t been informed on the date, will inform in a timely manner», — said Peskov told reporters in response to a question about whether the Kremlin considers the option of moving the annual address in February next year, as reported by the media.

The head of state annually addresses the Federal Assembly on the situation in the country and main directions of domestic and foreign policy. This software is a political and legal document that expresses the vision of strategic directions of development of Russia in the near future. It includes political, economic, ideological position and specific proposals for legislative work of both chambers of Parliament.

By tradition, the presidential address present senators, state Duma deputies, government members, heads of the constitutional and Supreme courts, governors, chairmen of legislative assemblies of subjects of Federation, heads of traditional faiths, public figures, including heads of civic chambers of regions, heads of major media.
