The number of officially registered unemployed in Russia increased by 0.1% for the week and made 711,1 thousand people as of November 8, reported the press service of the Ministry of labor.

The authority previously reported on the growth from October 25 to November 1, 2017 by 0.2%.

«From 1 to 8 November 2017, the number of unemployed citizens registered with employment services increased by 0,1% and amounted to 711 080 people», — reported in the Ministry of labor of the Russian Federation.

For the week the decline in number of unemployed occurred in 28 regions. The largest decline was observed in the republics of Ingushetia, Dagestan, Mordovia, North Ossetia, Nenets Autonomous district, Omsk, Kirov, Ivanovo, Kaliningrad, Penza regions.

In 52 regions marked increase in the number of unemployed people. The greatest increase occurred in Adygea, Kalmykia, Karelia, the Crimea, Chuvashia, Sevastopol, Kamchatka Krai, Sakhalin b Kaluga region, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug.

The Ministry added that on November 8, the total number of employees who were idle at the initiative of administration, working incomplete working hours and workers who were granted leave by agreement of the parties, was 116 128 people.

The Ministry reminded that on 1 November, the registered unemployment rate in average in Russia amounted to 0.9 % of the economically active population (on 1 November 2016 and 1.1 %).

Also on 8 November 2017, the number of vacancies declared by employers to the employment service, amounted to 1.6 million units.
