EU sanctions against Venezuela are aimed only to harm the dialogue between the government and the opposition, said the head of the Venezuelan foreign Minister, Jorge Arreaza.

The European Union on Monday banned the supply to Venezuela of weapons and equipment that could be used for repression. In addition, has adopted a normative document, which facilitates the introduction of individual sanctions involving a ban on entry and freezing assets. Are an individual sanction is not imposed.

«The European Union has adopted a hostile solutions that are focused on the failure of the national dialogue and the support of those who aroused political violence, death and destruction as mechanisms of access to power through unconstitutional means», — is spoken in the message of the foreign Ministry.

In spring and summer as a result of mass protests in Venezuela against the policies of President Nicolas Maduro has killed more than 120 people.
