Two thermal power station in Khabarovsk territory reduce gas consumption and switch to burning coal because of emergency stop of gas supply from the field Chayvo project «Sakhalin-1», according to the materials of the Ministry of energy.

«The fourteenth of November at 09.05 GMT on Amur CHP-1 and Komsomolskaya CHPP-2 (the branch «Khabarovsk generation» JSC «DGK») in accordance with the telephone message of «RN-Sakhalinmorneftegaz» (subsidiaries of OJSC «NK «Rosneft») about an emergency stop of gas supply from the field Chayvo project «Sakhalin-1» gas pipeline «Okha – Komsomolsk-on-Amur» initiated measures to reduce gas flow from the transfer stations to the combustion of coal,» — said in the message.

The reason for the stop and start time of the gas flow are investigated. Also, the energy Ministry indicate that the impact for consumers is not expected.
