Russian Prosecutor General Yuri Chaika at a meeting with the first President of the court of cassation of Morocco Mustafa Perez expressed his intention to develop Russian-Moroccan relations in the field of law enforcement, reported on the website of the Russian Supervisory authority.

«In conclusion, Yury Chaika reiterated the strong focus on comprehensive development of Russian-Moroccan relations in the field of law enforcement», — stated in the message.

It is noted that the fares are also favoured the development of bilateral ties, describing the interaction of judges and prosecutors in Morocco.

As stressed by Seagull, Morocco and Russia for more than 15 years are strategic partners. A new milestone in the history of relations between the two countries has opened a visit to Moscow in March of last year, Morocco’s king Mohammed VI. The Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation noted that one of the components of the dynamic development of interstate relations is the proper enforcement cooperation. In this regard, he expressed confidence that this meeting will strengthen cooperation between Russia and Morocco.

It is reported that at the meeting, representatives of the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation introduced the guests with the activities of the Russian Prosecutor’s office, including coordination of law enforcement to combat crime.

According to authorities, the event was attended by the Deputy Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Saak Karapetyan, the Deputy Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Leonid Korzhinek, chief of international cooperation Department of the court of cassation of the Kingdom of Morocco Ali Rezwani and heads of departments of General Prosecutor’s office and representatives of the Moroccan delegation.
