In Primorye opened the Russian-Japanese food forum

The first Russian-the Japanese food forum, where experts will discuss the prospects of development of trade and investment cooperation between the two countries, will be held in Vladivostok from 15 to 17 November, said the administration of the province.

The forum will be hosted by far Eastern Federal University on the initiative of the Ministry of agriculture, forestry and fisheries of Japan and supported by the Investment Agency of Primorsky Krai.

«The forum is held for the first time, his goal is to form a side of Japanese business perceptions of the Russian Far East as a region of priority development with a clear and attractive investment climate with a rich natural and human capital», – said the Deputy Director of investmentsto Bogdan Ragulin.

The first day of the forum will be dedicated to the investment climate Primorye. In the framework of the session «the Russian far East as the territory of priority development: tools and practice» the experts will give practical tips for working in THOR and the SPV. During the second day of the forum the participants will discuss the features of the food market of the Russian Far East, licensing, and quarantine.

Representatives of eight Japanese companies for the first time will visit Primorye in the framework of the forum.
