The European Commission plans to initiate a new case against Google

The European Commission (EC) plans to Institute new proceedings against the American Corporation Google, writes Reuters, citing the words of the European Commissioner for competition, Margrethe Vestager (Margrethe Vestager).

«Against Google will be filed new cases», — said the Agency Vestager during his visit to Beijing.

In 2015-2016, the EC sued Google several claims. In particular, in April 2015 the European Commission has accused the company that it gives priority to its own search online services and infringes on the rights of competitors and consumers.

In July of the same year, the EC said that Google was abusing its dominant position by offering some of its instruments of online advertising, in particular, compare prices, when searching for third-party web sites. The company has granted the EC response to these accusations, completely rejecting them.

At the end of June 2017, the EC fined Google for of 2.42 billion euros for abuse of dominant market position in search engines, the search engine gave preference to its own Google Shopping to search for products on the Internet.
