The head of Khakassia Victor Zimin has banned flights to the territory of the reserve, where they live recluse of the old believer Agafya Lykova, and also admitted that he is not a fan of it.

He added that the hermit lives in the reserve, where there can not be anyone. However, he criticized the authorities of the Kemerovo region, which sometimes bring Lykova goods. Zimin sees this as a violation of the law.

«Every resident of the Republic would like to have such conditions to stay the free: logistics, flights, telecommunications, aviation and even the neighbors are sometimes PR <…> Banned, said the Board will come out — you broke the law of the country. Agafya Lykova is the only surviving representative of the family of old believers hermits, which geologists have found in 1978 in the Western Sayan mountains.
