About three thousand people took part in the torchlight procession in the Austrian capital on Wednesday evening against the entry right Austrian freedom party (FPOE) in the coalition government, according to the police of Vienna.

«About three thousand people participated in today’s meeting in the government quarter. The demonstration passed peacefully without incident with police intervention,» — said in the message of militiamen in the social network Twitter.

In Austria, 15 Oct held early parliamentary elections. According to the final data of the Ministry of internal Affairs, Austrian people’s party became the leader of voting, gaining 31.5 per cent. In the second place Social democratic party of Austria with 26.9% of the vote. Right-nationalist freedom Party was in third place with 26% of votes. In the Parliament are also party NEOS and «the List of Peter Pilz» with 5.3% and 4.4% of the votes respectively.

Austrian right-nationalist FPOE, who took third place at the last parliamentary elections, had previously accepted the offer to join in a coalition with the leader of the vote of the Austrian people’s party.
